Christmas Belles: A Regency Holiday Anthology (E-Book)

A great Christmas Anthology from some of my favorite authors!! I had looked forwarded to reading this book and it did not disappoint!! There is a little bit of everything in this book for everyone along with some Christmas magic to help get the holidays started. I highly recommend this book!!

The following are my thoughts as I read this book. Nigel Streeter…ward of Tobias Streeter, considers Xander Macauley an uncle and a friend, the object of Bella Macauley’s affection. Arabella Macauley…daughter of Pippa and Xander Macauley, innocent trouble, enamored with Nigel Streeter. The h seems to draw the H into her bout of trouble. The h has made up her mind but the H is not having it. I guess the H is no match for the h’s determination. The H “rescues” the h or did she rescue him, hmmm. The father of the h is very calm considering. Ha, the h got her way! This is a story about the battle between the one not feeling worthy and the determination of one who believes they are worthy. It’s also a generational beginning of a previous set of characters. I highly recommend you read the Duchess Society series, you’ll love it.

From this box set, I read “Once Upon a Not at All Innocent Kiss” by Bree Wolf. This is an entertaining story about the Whickertons. They are a family that only marries for love. If you read any stories about them, you might remember Grandma Edie. She is a brilliant matchmaker and a rescuer of those in need of rescue. Grandma Edie is magic; she is the stuff of fairy tales. In this story, she is not a grandmother yet. Her son, Charles falls in love with Beatrice, a woman who becomes pregnant by a cad who deceives her. Beatrice's family arranges a marriage to an older man for her. Beatrice has reconciled herself to live in misery. Can Charles convince her to take a chance on him? His father does not think that was wise since the lady does not love him, but can love come in time? Charles is not only honorable; he is loveable, too. After all, he is a Whickerton. What does Mamma Edie think? What does she do? Those who know her cannot imagine her staying on the sidelines. Will she remain quiet? I love the story and look forward to reading the rest of the set. I have read all the authors and enjoyed their stories.

A beautifully written collection of stories that will inspire you the entire year and always. These talented authors have gotten together to give you characters that seem realistic.

All these authors write very descriptive stories. The heroine and heroes are very well developed. . It is Christmas bundle that have very enjoyable storylines.
