Before the Whickertons became legends, three stories lit the spark. This prequel trio captures the early days of love that shaped everything to come. From meddlesome matchmaking to unexpected courtship and the timeless ache of friendship transforming into something more, these tales are woven with courage, devotion, and the first brave steps toward lifelong happiness.
🎄 Once Upon an Aggravatingly Heroic Kiss Lady Edith Weston is determined to help her friend escape a loveless match—but her holiday meddling leads to more than she bargained for. Jasper Beaumont, Earl of Whickerton, came to honor a promise, not fall in love with a sharp-eyed whirlwind. Yet as Edith fights for another’s joy, she begins to hope for her own—and together, they choose happiness over duty.
💔 Once Upon a Not at all Innocent Kiss Beatrice Hartley faces a future shaped by heartbreak and reputation. Charles Beaumont, Lord Hawthorne, sees her not as a scandal, but as someone extraordinary. While society turns away, Charles steps forward—and Beatrice must decide if she’s willing to risk being cherished. Love, here, isn’t earned. It’s claimed.
🌿 Once Upon a Kiss Gone Horribly Wrong Anne Thatcher and Tobias Hawke have always been best friends. But one stolen moment beneath the mistletoe changes everything. As long-held feelings rise, both must decide whether risking their bond might lead to something deeper—or leave them with nothing. Because sometimes, the safest place is the scariest to reach for.
💫 If you’ve ever looked back at the beginning and felt it tug gently on your heart—these stories will bring you home.

It was an amazing story of love and redemption after betrayal and abandonment. But I had already read it. I wish she would tell when these are not new stories.
Delightful story! I enjoyed finding out about how Charles Whickerton and Beatrice came together. Beatrice has found herself in a situation where she may be forced, by her parents, to marry a much older man. When Charles first meets her, he is determined to make her his own. This is a beautiful, romantic tale and I highly recommend it.

Another beautiful story by this intrepid author. I loved the previous books in this series but this one blows the others out of the water. Troy and Nora are such fabulous characters that you struggle to understand why they separated five years ago. Secrets & misunderstandings along with some twists and turns kept my interest from start to finish. I thought that Grandma Edie was wonderful! This is a fantastic story that you don’t want to miss, but it helps to have read the earlier stories, in order to understand the Whickerton family members.
